Satu Lipponen

Ms. Satu Lipponen has been with the Cancer Society of Finland since March 2000. She is working on strategy, foresight and international activities.  She also contributes to Syöpä-Cancer magazine of the Society as its editor. The Cancer Society is one of the biggest public health organisations in Finland.  It consists of 18 member associations with over 100,000 members. Patient work and counselling are one of the main activities of the Society and its member associations.  The Society maintains the Finnish Cancer Registry.

Before joining the Cancer Society, Satu was project manager for five years at the Finnish Centre for Health Promotion, an umbrella organization for over 100 health NGOs.
