Marie Lawaetz is Manager of the CIS, entered the position September 2018.

The CIS at the Danish Cancer Society offers information and counselling through telephone, mail, chat and Skype and also provides peer-to-peer support through the Cancerforum online community.

Prior to this position, Marie has 8 years’ experience in the Danish Cancer Society, managing the counselling unit of Copenhagen, where people show up for face to face counselling individually, as couples, as families or in peer groups.

Marie is a psychologist and family therapist with 18 years’ experience as a clinical psychologist combined with various managing positions within the field of health psychology.
