Chris Donkin

Manager of Cancer Information Services, Danish Cancer Society

Chris Donkin has been Manager of the CIS since 2009. Chris joined the ICISG at a meeting held in Heidelberg in 2010, and became a member of the board in 2012. He contributed to the ICISG sessions at the World Cancer Congress meetings in Montreal, Melbourne and Paris and was also involved in a ICISG subgroup working with data comparison.

Chris is trained as a physiotherapist and psychotherapist and has a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology. Prior to the current job at The Danish Cancer society he worked as a leadership consultant in the Danish health care system.

The CIS at the Danish Cancer Society offers information and counselling through telephone, mail, chat and Skype and also provides peer-to-peer support through the Cancerforum online community.
